Welcome to Clarion University APSCUF’s (Association
of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties) website,
another tool to enable our members to participate and communicate. APSCUF, the voice of the faculty and
coaches here at Clarion University, we uphold the highest standards of
teaching, scholarly inquiry, and service. We are an organization that is
committed to promoting excellence in all that we do to ensure that our
students receive the highest quality education.
As a group dedicated to quality higher education, we
all benefit from faculty and coaches participation in shared
governance. Our collective
bargaining agreements (CBA) guarantees participation in the academic
freedom, due process, a roll in hiring, tenure and promotion processes,
in sabbatical leave determination, and in curricular decisions along
with providing our student-athletes with the guidance making them both
better athletes and better people.
Most importantly, ours is the strongest voice raised in the
defense of maintaining the academic excellence of our institution.
