AFT member benefits

An AFT affiliate

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, APSCUF is an affiliate of AFT (Local 1421).

AFT sent welcome messages to APSCUF members over the weekend of Feb. 15–16, 2025, and to APSCURF members in mid-March 2025. (If you joined APSCUF after Jan. 1, 2025, please allow a few weeks after your join date to receive your AFT welcome message.) APSCUF cannot resend AFT welcome messages because they did not come from APSCUF. The messages appear to have gone out first to the personal email in our APSCUF database. This might not be the personal email members used to register for the APSCUF website, if they registered with a different email than they put on their membership application. If there wasn’t a personal email, it appears AFT moved on to campus email. If you were unable to locate your email in either a personal or campus account (Please check your spam folders first.), click here to submit an inquiry via AFT’s website.

Once you have received your welcome email from AFT, click the personalized link in your message and create your account. If you’ve created an APSCUF.org account, you still need to create an AFT login. The two websites are not linked.

After you have created an AFT account, the login page for AFT members is https://members.aft.org/members/login. After logging in, you will see AFT-membership-card information in the top-right corner (on desktop/laptop browser) or under the “Membership Card” heading on a handheld device.

If you experience technical issues, please contact Membership at or 1-888-238-5646.

For questions about these or other AFT benefit programs, contact AFT Member Benefits at or 800-238-1133, 8643.

AFT member-benefits brochure

AFT members fight for a better life for all β€” at work, in our communities and for our families. And when we stand together, we build power that improves everyday life. That’s the idea behind AFT + Member Benefits. By joining together through our union, AFT members have built a marketplace that uses the collective strength of our 1.8 million members to provide practical help beyond the workplace. From everyday discounts and financial tools to free trauma counseling and student-debt support, these benefits are designed to help members navigate the challenges working families face today. Because fighting for a better life means fighting for what people actually need β€” financial security, support for their families and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your union has your back. AFT + Member Benefits is one more way collective power improves the lives of members and their families.

Visit the Members-Only Benefits page (login required) to download the brochure that includes URLs, phone numbers, and codes for AFT + Member Benefits: community benefits, education, finance and legal, staying healthy, discounts and shopping, insurance, travel, mortgage and home services, and hardship help.
