Faculty contract negotiations continued Thursday and Friday between the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties (APSCUF) and Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The negotiation teams discussed student evaluations, office hours, continuing education, and leave. Both sides shared lists of topics to be discussed. While talks have been productive, the lists are long and all agreed that it will take many meetings to reach an agreement, APSCUF President Dr. Kenneth M. Mash said.

The teams are slated to meet again May 15. The current four-year contract expires June 30, 2023.

APSCUF represents about 5,000 faculty and coaches at the State System campuses: Bloomsburg, California, Cheyney, Clarion, East Stroudsburg, Edinboro, Indiana, Kutztown, Lock Haven, Mansfield, Millersville, Shippensburg, Slippery Rock, and West Chester.
