The APSCUF and PASSHE negotiations teams met today, Thursday, August 23, at the Dixon Center in Harrisburg. Modest progress was made as PASSHE presented a wage proposal that was closer to the AFSCME pattern and APSCUF offered a health care proposal. However, the two sides remain far apart with regard to distance education, retrenchment, retiree health care, workload for temporary faculty, and health care. The parties will meet again on August 31 at the APSCUF office in Harrisburg.
